El Salvador

 

El Salvador is a city located in southern part in Mindanao island. This place serves as a pilgrimage site for the Divine mercy devotees, that is why they called "The city of Mercy". El Salvador can be travel in just an hour via plane from Manila to laguindigan International Airport, then about less than 20 minutes bus ride from laguindigan Airport to El salvador. Visitors and locals can go around the city by riding on motorboat, Public jeepneys or motorcycles. El salvador hosts several companies, plants and factories.These are Tanduay Rhum, Asia brewery, Highland Fresh Daily Products, Virgin cola bottling plant, Monark Equipment, Zest-o, WL foods Corporation, Universal Robina Corporation (URC), and Union Plywood Corporation.


DIVINE MERCY SHRINE

Divine mercy shrine is located in el salvador city,divine mercy hills. It is an overlooking macalajar bay on mindanao island. It is one of the tourist destination when holy week. This place performs many mysteries and miracles such as follows:
Dancing sun- April 7 2013 feast day of the divine mercy during the dawn Mass.150,000 people witness the miracle.
Eve of the feast of the Divine Mercy-April 6 2013 during the holy mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Bonaventure Ma. Valles,FDM.
